Echo & The Bunnymen will release their eleventh studio album, The Fountain, on October 12th (UK). The album's first single, "Think I Need It Too", is slated for release on September 28th (at least that's what Wiki is stating). Fear not, we've been cleared to share the song with you, so regardless of its actual release date. you can enjoy it now!!
The album sessions started in 2007 when iconic frontman Ian McCulloch tossed around new ideas with a few London-based musicians. "I thought [Will Sergeant and I] needed to do stuff differently, but so the result still sounded like The Bunnymen," McCulloch says. "What we got with "Think I Need It Too" and "Forgotten Fields," I thought, 'Yeah, this is how it should sound.'" The album would be pieced together over the next year, with Ian and Will working on it in Liverpool at their mangement's Parr Street Studios.
